Well, it turns out that a lot of us don’t really have fun exercising and it can be pretty intimidating to go to the gym. This will be perfect for when it is a little warmer out, because if you’re anything like me, you don’t want to have to don your parka for a leisurely stroll with the dog.
Did you know that roughly 32% of Hendricks County is overweight? That makes us just barely under that state average of 33% and way above the national of 26%. Also, in the last seven years the obesity rate for the county has pretty much been stagnant. While it is good that we haven’t gotten worse, it also shows that we haven't gotten better.
